Modulation of diverse biological processes by CPSF, the master regulator of mRNA 3′ ends

CPSF73 participates in the processing of miR-17–92. (A) The primary miR-17–92 transcript contains six immature miRNAs. Their maturation first involves cleavage by CPSF73, which is in complex with U2 snRNP and ISY1, at the 5′ end of the first miRNA precursor. This generates pro-miR-17–92.
