The influence of the local sequence environment on RNA loop structures

Sequence and secondary structural-state strings occurring as environments of multiple conformational clusters. For different window sizes, sequence environments (blue) were compared with secondary structural (orange) environments in string representation (cf. Materials and Methods). x-axis indicates window size; y-axis, fraction of (sequence resp. structural) environments shared between two or more conformational clusters over all observed environments.
