Twenty-nine#bp-like repeats, CpG-rich islands, and TERRA TSSs across all human chromosome ends. Schematic representation of the positions of the different variants of 29 bp–like repeats (triangles) and subtelomeric CpG islands (gray boxes) in the T2T CHM13v2.0/hs1 subtelomeric reference genome. TERRA TSSs identified by TERRA ONTseq are also indicated (pink arrowheads). For each chromosome arm, the most telomere-proximal 2000 bp are shown. Note that Chromosome 5p has two TERRA TSSs. The one on the left was identified in HeLa cells while the one on the right was identified in U2OS and HEK293T cells.
