Nm in cellular RNAs. (A) Nm refers to 2′-O-methylation of the ribose moiety of a ribonucleotide N. (B) Nm occurs in noncoding RNAs including rRNA, tRNA, and snRNA, as well as at the 3′ end of miRNAs and piRNAs.
