T. brucei tRNATyr is unusually unstable. Northern blot hybridization performed on the extracted total RNA samples from T. brucei cells subjected to Actinomycin D treatment revealing the mature and alternate conformers of tRNATyr. The same membrane was then stripped and probed for the tRNAs: Asp, Glu, Gln, His, Ile, Leu, Phe, and Asn. The tRNAGlu was used as loading control.
