Introducing the new Meet the First Author(s) feature in RNA

With this issue, RNA is pleased to launch a new editorial feature called Meet the First Author(s). For each research-based paper, first authors will have an opportunity to provide their personal views on the significance of their work and to share accounts of surprising results, unexpected difficulties, contributing aspects of their collaborations, or their future scientific goals. Each Meet the First Author(s) feature will be published concurrently with the paper, following the references, and will be included as part of any downloaded copy of the paper. RNA hopes that this new feature will be enjoyable to authors and readers alike.
