Comparison of Nop5/56p/58p structures reveals a range of conformations. Nop5/56p/58p structures (orange) were all superimposed to that of Sc Nop58p (teal) determined as part of the 90S processome structure and displayed as pairs. The superimposition was carried out by aligning the main chain carbon atoms of either the coiled-coil or the coiled-coil plus the CTD domains between the pairs of Nop5/56p/58p proteins, and the root mean square differences (rmsds) were computed. The upper and the lower rmsd values associated with each pair of Nop5/56p/58p proteins are those for the coiled-coil or coiled-coil plus CTD, respectively. The PDB code of each structure is indicated. Organism abbreviations are the same as those used in Figure 3.
