A FRET constrained Rosetta modeling workflow. Known telomerase substructures were integrated to generate a modeling scaffold. Along with RNA conformation, a Scoreclash term is generated in order to prevent steric clashing of the RNA with the protein homology model. Lastly, the FRET distance constraints are integrated through a ScoreFRET term that is defined by a smooth square well potential that penalizes relatively large differences between modeled distances and FRET-defined distances.
