Genetic complementation of S. cerevisiae trl1Δ by fungal pathogen tRNA ligases. Serial dilutions of trl1Δ cells transformed with CEN plasmids bearing SceTRL1, CalTRL1, AfuTRL1, or CimTRL1 genes were spotted to YPD agar plates, which were incubated at 20°C, 25°C, 30°C, 34°C, and 37°C.
