Lsm1-7-Pat1 complex interacts with 1a protein. Western blot analysis of immunoprecipitation assays carried out in WT cells expressing BMV RNA3 and flag or 1a-flag. The blot was probed with anti-1a, anti-Lsm1, and anti-Pat1 antibodies. Input corresponds to 100 µg of total protein present in lysates prior to precipitation. Output corresponds to the corresponding eluates from anti-flag matrix following precipitation. Extracts were either treated (+) or not treated (−) with RNAseA prior to the washing steps.
