Subcellular localization of the RBFOX1 mutant proteins. (A) Indirect immunofluorescence of HeLa cells transfected with the indicated constructs was performed using Flag antibody. (B) Indirect immunofluorescence of HeLa cells transfected with RBFOX1 constructs containing an SV40 NLS was carried out using Flag antibody. (C) HeLa cells were cotransfected with the SMN2-MS2down reporter minigene and the indicated RBFOX1 constructs. RNA was extracted 48 h after transfection and analyzed as in Figure 1B.
